Is located 26 km from Turuncova on the Finike-Elmaly Highway it is necessary to walk abaout 1 km. It is not known exactly when Arycanda which dominated the Akarçay valley and is surroundings, was established. Based on finds from explorations it is thought to have existed in the 5th century B.C. Although largely destroyed by an earthquake in 240 A.D., it continued to survive until the 11th century A.D. Known as Aalanda in Byzantine times, it was built on terraces; many of the buildings are in a good state of preservation. The theatre is especially spectacular and has beatiful views.
