It is located within the boundaries of Manavgat. The canyon itself is a 14 km long and 100 m wide valleybetween Balasag village and Beskonak The park is thickly covered in cedar and pine trees. The rock formations on the slopes of the valleys resemble the "fairy chimneys" of Cappadocia. The ancient stonebridges stradding the Köprü stream is still in use today.
